Amber’s Home Blood Collections was founded with the mission to make blood testing more accessible and convenient for individuals in Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas. With 11 years healthcare experience, NHS-trained in phlebotomy, and extensive hands-on practice, I offer a professional, efficient, and compassionate service.  Home visits allow clients to have their blood taken in the comfort of their own home, creating a calm, stress-free experience every time. 

The idea for this mobile phlebotomy service came from my own experience. I’ve always been passionate about maintaining good health because I truly believe "health is wealth." I take my physical wellbeing and lifestyle seriously, so when I started experiencing some symptoms and requested a blood test from my GP to get a clearer picture of what was going on, I was frustrated to find out I'd have to wait six weeks for an appointment. Not wanting to delay taking care of myself, I decided to take matters into my own hands and ordered a private blood test from Medichecks to see if there were any lifestyle changes I could make, and to gain a better understanding of my overall health with the goal of boosting my energy levels and preventing future illness. However, the nearest clinic recommended for blood collection was an hours drive away, which felt like an unnecessary barrier to something that should be simple and accessible. That experience made me realise how valuable a mobile blood collection service could be—not just for myself, but for others in the community who care about their health and want to take action without the hassle.
