Order your blood test

Purchase your blood test from the provider of your choice — you will be sent a sample kit with everything you need, but I also keep spare equipment just in case. Make sure you select the option to arrange the venous blood collection yourself, and take a bit of time to look into which test best suits your needs. One provider I’ve personally used and recommend is MediChecks, as they offer a wide range of tests and clear instructions. If you’re with the NHS and can’t make it to your surgery for a blood test — whether that’s due to timing or if the appointment wait time is too long — just let your GP know you'll be arranging to have it done privately. You’ll need to collect the relevant paperwork from them before booking an appointment with me, as bloods will not be able to be taken without it.

Make an appointment

Feel free to reach out to book an appointment at a time that works best for you — this is a mobile service, and I’m happy to accommodate flexible timings. Appointments start from 6am, making it ideal for those who need an early slot before work or other commitments. Private blood tests are available Sunday to Friday, as they need to be sent back to the provider by post as soon as possible. GP blood tests are available Monday to Friday.

Before and after blood test

Certain blood tests may require fasting or need to be taken at specific times of the day or month. Please ensure you're aware of these requirements before booking, so we can schedule your test at the right time.

Once the blood test is complete, it will either need to be sent back to the provider for testing or dropped off at the doctor's surgery. I’m happy to handle this for you, but please note there will be an additional £5 fee. Post office proof of postage will be sent to you for confirmation.
